Here’s an important announcement from the MCA Yearbook Squad: The theme of this year’s yearbook has been chosen! It is Rewind the Memories. You can pre-order your copy of the MCA Yearbook for $7 starting this week. The regular price will be $10. The Class of 2017 should begin to find their favorite baby picture. Deadline for turning your baby pictures to Mr. Attewell is Friday, February 24.
Hey MCA, Can you smell that? It smells like love. That’s right … love is the air because MCA’s Valentine Dance will be held on Friday. Tickets will be on sale starting TO-MOR-ROW during breakfast, lunch and after school in the Union … $5 in advance and $7 at the door! No ticket, No dance!
Breaking News: Are you interested in math or science as a career? Do you want to learn more about engineering and participate in an Engineering challenge? Sign up with Ms. Logan today! Outside of her room there is a sign up list. If you are chosen to participate you will receive lunch and be able to speak with several African American Engineers about their daily experiences and their career. Sign up now!

If you are interested in helping Ms. Mayer create flags of the African nations for black history month please meet her in the Union Wednesday after school! Any experience with collages or drawing is a major plus! Again, Wednesday meet Ms. Mayer in the Union to be a part of this Black History Month art project!
