School Accountability Report Cards 2015-16

Milwaukee Collegiate Academy is a City of Milwaukee public charter school. The City of Milwaukee’s Charter School Review Committee monitors academic, operational, and financial performance and reports to the Common Council annually. An important feature of the annual report is the CSRC’s scorecard and annual report. To download the report for the 2015-16 school year, please click here.

As part of the state’s school accountability system, the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction issues a report card for every school in the state. The report card is based on several measures and largely on the results of the state’s required assessment. The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction is updating its school accountability system and issuing a report card for every public school in the state. To download the report card for the 2015-16 school year, please click here.

The state report cards include some useful information. However, the state report cards are based on the required state assessment, which has changed three times over the past three years. Because of changing testing environment at the state level, MCA has relied on its own internal assessment to consistently track progress and set goals.

We encourage families and the community to review the more comprehensive results of the Milwaukee Charter School Review Committee, to learn more about MCA’s progress. MCA pledges to monitor our progress along the way this year, and update families and we continue to ask for our community’s partnership in supporting our students.
